As the saying goes “No man is an island” and this applies to teachers as well. Join in and become part of our community to keep your professional learning network growing.

Unlike other conferences, this is a teacher-centered training session, where you are the one calling the shots! You’ll be able to participate in a poll and choose the topics you are most interested in discussing, choose when and how to participate and share your experience with other experienced teachers.
During the Welcome and Closing portions, we’ll have short training sessions where we will go through practical and relevant strategies to tackle the topics discussed during the unconference, plus the routine welcome and closing of the event that will be full of surprises!
The Breakout Sessions are 50-minute small group sessions, where the facilitators will guide participants in discussions, presentations, and other activities with two main focuses:
(1) Best practices
(2) Use of technology
An unconference is a participant-driven meeting. The term “unconference” has been applied, or self-applied, to a wide range of gatherings that try to avoid one or more aspects of a conventional conference.
An un-conference is an event where the agenda is set up in part by those who attend. The rules of an un-conference are simple:
Rule #1: Whoever shows up are the right people
Rule #2: Whatever happens is fine
Rule #3: Whenever it starts is the right time
Rule #4: It is over when it’s over
