Recaps and trailers: practical activities for revision and preparation

Television series use recaps and trailers to remind viewers of what has happened and to get them excited for what’s coming. This talk explores how teachers can spice up their classes in a similar way by incorporating review and preview activities. These can help students consolidate past material and prepare for what’s next. Using examples from POTENTIAL, the new secondary course from Helbling Languages, we will look at some practical, classroom-ready examples for both revision and preparation.
